Botanist, father of the green wall
Patrick Blanc is a botanist of international renown. CNRS researcher, he participated in numerous missions in France and abroad. He was part of the team “raft peaks” with Francis Hallé and Dany Cleyet-Marrel and often occured in TV program “Ushuaia Nature” with Nicolas Hulot.
His inventiveness, his sense of observation and experience of explorer led him to give birth to the “green wall”, an architectural concept on the frontier between the botanical and artistic creation for which he is now globally recognized. From the facade of the Musée du Quai Branly (Paris) to the Miami Art Museum (USA) through the Caixa Forum in Madrid (Spain), he tirelessly decorates, cities, museums, mansions and participates in numerous conferences and international exhibitions.
However, despite this busy schedule, Patrick Blanc always manages to accompany some passionate adventurers and share his knowledge.
